Hublot is a Swiss company that creates luxury watches and was founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco. Descended from a long line of watchmakers, Crocco wanted to create a unique watch line that transcended contemporary watch design, yet could be worn in casual and elegant settings.

Crocco incorporated simplicity, clean, pure lines and incorporated these elements into creating one of the finest watches on the market today. Crocco set about designing a watch that he named the Hublot after the French word for"porthole. Crocco spent years researching components for the perfect rubber strap to compliment creation, and three years later, he achieved his goal by creating the first all-natural rubber strap in the history of watch making.
