IWC Aquatimer 2014 Collection

IWC watches are a favorite of mine for their combination of luxury and functionality. At this years SIHH watch fair in Geneva, IWC presented an amazing variety of new and updated Aquatimer models for 2014. The first Aquatimer was created in 1967 in response to the new and growing popularity of scuba diving. This watch set the mark for IWC’s Aquatimer’s growth.

This year there are many traditional styles with new twists but be sure to look for these in particular. The new titanium OCEAN Porsche Design, the Aquatimer GST sport watch, the Aquatimer GST Deep One which is also in titanium with a mechanical depth gauge. The new Aquatimer Split Minute Chronograph which was the first watch to features a split-minute hand that operates separately from the chrono that can be activated or deactivated underwater, to a depth of 120 meters. Finally, the Aquatimer Deep Two with a depth gauge that shows current depths as well as the depth attained during a dive, to a maximum of 50 meters.
