Breitling Emergency in All Titanium With Yellow Dial REF# E56321 Current Retail $6,250 This is the older style and more desirable Emergency (which is exactly the same as the current model but on the old style bracelet. The bracelet links are straight across instead of at an angle like the newer model. I prefer the old style bracelet as the links are parallel with the watch and the watch looks more symmetrical in my eye. Watch is pre-owned in absolutely as new and unworn condition. The watch was originally purchased in Nov 2002 and was received as a gift and never worn. The watch is literally in as new condition. It was sent into Breitling (the battery died) for a full service in January 2009 and is now fully covered under warranty from Breitling. The service cost almost $400 directly from Breitling. The only way I would ever buy this watch is either brand new, or one that has just come back from Brietling and is under warranty. The Breitling Emergency E7632110.I500.138E was originally designed for pilots and aircrews. It is a watch with a built-in micro-transmitter broadcasting on the 121.5 MHz aircraft emergency frequency and is designed to complement the distress signalling equipment of any aircraft. Following a crash the 'Emergency' will broadcast a signal on which rescuers can home in. The transmitter in this E7632110-I500-138E is activated (for 48 hours) by unscrewing a protective cap and pulling the antenna out fully. Over flat terrain or calm seas, the transmitter signal has a range of about 160Km (assuming the search aircraft is flying at an altitude of 6000m).
